WORLD STEM CELL SUMMIT
The organizers of this global conference, Genetics Policy Institute, University of Wisconsin, and WiCell Research Institute retained MickMedia to provide full creative and marketing support to this international gathering.
First, a conference logo was designed in collaboration with the organizers. This logo ultimately appeared on virtually all printed and digital materials produced. MickMedia designed more than 30 individual graphic pieces for the conference, including direct-mail pieces, advertisements, collateral conference material, entrance banners, and signage.
We designed and build the 2008 version of the conference web site WorldStemCellSummit.com and provided real-time support throughout the planning and execution of the four-day event. The web site was updated continually, often hourly, as new information and sponsorships were announced and sponsor company logos were prepared and posted on the site.
MickMedia worked directly with some sponsors to develop a "virtual exhibitor" presence on the Summit web site through the design and creation of custom web pages specific to a particular sponsor's desired message.
MickMedia personnel traveled to the event to continue its support of the conference. We updated the website continuously and served as reporters and photographers, generating our own news stories for posting daily on the site.
Concurrent with the assignment, MickMedia was retained by Genetics Policy Institute to redesign and update its web site, GenPol.org, in order to better align its "look" to that of the Summit.
